Meeting Time *
What time will your group be meeting?
Meeting Day *
Times that are not off limits, but historically less attended are Saturday mornings, Weekday mornings, and Sun/Sat/Wed/Thurs evenings.
Consider who you are trying to get to come to your group. For example, consider that Wednesday nights TPC has an AWANA children's program that might conflict with some families if you are doing a group geared towards parents, families, married couples (with kids) etc. Thursday evenings are when Worship and Production Team have rehearsal. Sunday evenings are when Welcome Dinner, and Purpose Youth meet.Historically successful days as far as attendance are typically Monday through Thursday Nights. Early morning breakfast/coffee groups are also usually well attended on weekdays (if early enough to allow people to get to work.)
What would you like to call the location of your group?
This is what will be stated on the website. If your group is at your house it could be "Johnson Home" or "Jane's Home." If your group is meeting at public location please describe where it is, such as: "Dunkin' Donuts I-35/Cibolo Valley" or "Black Rifle Coffee - Live Oak" ***There will be an approximate map on the roster, with exact location showing after someone has been added to the group. Consider adding a location identifier in the title, such as: Johnson Home (off Schertz Pkwy and I-35).
Additional Group Details or Criteria:
Provide specific details or additional info here.
Examples of details: for single people, for moms, for moms of adult children, those who have had loss/grief, for people who own their own business, for teachers, retired people etc.) If the group is open to men and women please indicate "co-ed" here.

When you become a leader at The Purpose Church, youâre committing to live your life at a higher standard. Everyone grows! As a leader, itâs especially important that you pursue learning and growth throughout your lifetime and demonstrate mature behavior as a follower of Christ. The Bible is our foundation for what it means to be mature in our thoughts, words, and actions. When you assume responsibility for leading others, and take on the title of leader, you must remember that your behavior and reputation represent The Purpose Church and the body of Christ. For this reason, itâs important that all leaders are aligned with our church beliefs and core values. For clarity, some specific examples are listed below. Standards that we ask of you: ⢠Strive to demonstrate Biblical standards in speech and attitude in all situations ⢠Maintain a daily time of prayer ⢠Read your Bible and apply His Word to your actions ⢠Present a clean appearance Behaviors we expect that you refrain from: ⢠Profanity ⢠Overindulgence of alcoholic beverages ⢠Dishonest activity ⢠Illegal drugs ⢠Pornography ⢠Sexual immorality ⢠Cohabitating with a non-spouse ⢠Illegal activities (behavior that is contrary to governmental laws) ⢠Any and all behaviors that do not line up with the Word of God Environments in which we uphold our responsibility to honor Christ and Church by: ⢠Maintaining alcohol-free environments for small group or team gatherings and meetings. This means not meeting in venues that are specifically intended for alcohol consumption (bars) or allowing alcohol to be brought into the environment (such as a tasting or meal with alcohol provided by the host, leader, or guests). ⢠Maintain tobacco-free environments for small group gatherings and meetings. ⢠Creating positive social media environments by being mindful and aware of our effects of what we post on social media. As a leader, your posts represent not only yourself, but His church as well. Seek to be a positive voice and reflection of Christ through your social media platforms. I realize that by accepting this Leadership Commitment, I am not adopting a list of âdon'tsâ that are restrictive or legalistic. Instead, agreeing to uphold this Leadership Commitment shows that God has freed me to live in ways that reflect the life-change that only He can bring, and I am an example to others and not a stumbling block. I am a new creation who gives evidence that God accepts me where I am, but loves us so much He wonât let me stay there!
